Challenge

Our organization was transitioning away from a digital agency that previously handled nearly all web-related tasks—including building landing pages, maintaining the website, managing domains, and resolving technical issues. As a result, many critical processes needed to be brought in-house, documented, and streamlined. At the same time, several business units were seeking complete website redesigns and brand refreshes to improve usability, visual identity, and overall performance. The challenge was to take ownership of all digital infrastructure and web management while ensuring a smooth transition, minimizing downtime, and elevating the quality and consistency of our online presence.

Approach

I led the full transition by assessing the existing digital ecosystem, auditing legacy workflows, and identifying immediate technical gaps left by the agency. From there, I established clear internal processes for site updates, domain and DNS management, troubleshooting, and cross-team communication. I built new informational landing pages designed to support both organic search and paid campaign traffic, ensuring content was SEO-optimized, conversion-focused, and aligned with brand goals. For business units pursuing redesigns, I guided each team through the end-to-end process—including discovery, site architecture planning, UX recommendations, content strategy, vendor coordination, and implementation. I also directed rebranding efforts to ensure cohesive visual identity across the redesigned sites. Throughout the process, I prioritized maintainability, performance, and scalable systems so the organization could confidently own its digital presence moving forward.
